| WHOLE SERVICES - |
| WHOLE NUTRITIONIST COUNSELING |
|
When we work together, we work as a team.
I will serve you as your coach and guide.
During our initial appointment, we will spend one hour reviewing your health goals and concerns,
symptoms, diet, lifestyle, and personal and family medical histories.
|
|
In our follow-up appointment, we will spend another hour.
I will share the results of your lab work and explain my recommendations to you.
|
|
| |
| WHOLE NUTRITIONIST PROGRAMS |
|
The programs I design are unique and take into account your bioindividuality,
wants, needs, history and lifestyle.
Healing occurs on all levels of the body, mind and spirit, so all
programs will consider food, exercise, supplements, detoxification, and
relaxation or stress reduction techniques.
|
|
| |
| WHOLE NUTRITIONIST COSTS |
|
The fee for the initial visit, the follow up and a 24-hour urinalysis test is $250.
Payment can be made by PayPal or a personal check received before the first appointment.
I will be happy to answer simple, follow-up questions about your program by phone or e-mail
at no additional charge.
Indeed I welcome the opportunity to clarify points and make sure you are doing the program properly.
More extensive questions -- such as changes to your program, discussions about books you've
read, other healing programs, etc. -- will be billed at $30 per 15 minutes.
Generally, I recommend follow up visits with a repeat urinalysis test at four
months, though some clients need or prefer to be monitored more frequently.
The cost of a one-hour follow up visit with a repeat urinalysis test is $150.

| WHOLE NUTRITIONIST SPEECHES AND WORKSHOPS - |
|
Kaayla is a dynamic speaker who entertains and engages her
audiences with leading-edge information on health and longevity.
She is available for speaking engagements and 2 day workshops on the following topics -
or a topic of your choice...
|
|
| |
| BONING UP |
|
Want to prevent or treat osteoarthritis?
Bone up at this workshop. Learn whether "milk does a body good",
why soft drinks are bringing in the osteoporosis generation,
whether calcium pills cause more problems than they solve,
what combinations of vitamins and minerals really help,
why soy is not the answer, why bone density tests fail to tell the whole story,
and the pros and cons of pharmaceuticals such as hormone replacement therapy and Fosamax.
We'll separate the hope from the hype to learn what foods, supplements, herbs,
exercise and other natural therapies have been proven in clinical trials to have
a "leg to stand on".
|
|
| |
| THE HEAT IS ON |
|
Let Kaayla help you explore the bewildering choices offered to menopausal women.
Is menopause a normal stage in the life cycle or a disease that requires
intervention with hormone replacement drugs and other pharmaceuticals?
What about those "e;natural"e; hormone therapies?
Is soy the miracle food you've been led to believe?
Learn the best and safest ways to achieve a pain-free menopause,
nourish and protect your thyroid, maintain your perfect weight,
enhance your cognitive ability, and mature with grace, poise and power.
|
|
| |
| SECRETS OF THE SUPERYOUNG |
|
Want to slow, stop or reverse the aging process? Is it even possible?
This workshop reveals the secrets of the super young -
those rare people who look 20 to 30 years younger than their chronological age,
glow with good health and brim with enthusiasm and energy.
Learn about optimum nutrition, exercise and attitude from the world of science and,
most important, from the super young themselves -
people like the legendary healer Hazel R. Parcells, who died in 1996 at the age of 106 years young.
|
|
| |
| WHOLE WOMEN'S WORKSHOP |
|
Can't decide whether to take Boning Up, the Heat is On or Secrets of the Superyoung?
Kaayla offers all three as special five-day Whole Women's Workshop.
|
|
| |
| THE HEART OF THE MATTER |
|
Want to prevent, stop, slow - or even reverse - heart disease?
This workshop goes to the heart of the matter, presenting the latest findings from leading medical journals.
You'll learn why homocysteine, c-reactive protein, lipoprotein (a) and triglyceride levels
are better markers of heart disease than cholesterol; why controversy surrounds Vitamin E,
Co-Q10, carnitine and other natural supplements;
why butter is better than margarine; the pros and cons of soy;
and ways to counteract nutritional deficiencies caused by cholesterol-lowering statin drugs.
If you've ever wondered what changes in the American diet caused heart disease to soar from
very low levels in 1900 to the leading cause of death by the 1950s,
don't bypass this workshop!
|
|
| |
| ADD-ING IT UP |
|
Can diet affect ADD, ADHD and other forms of attention deficit disorder?
Kaayla shares the latest clinical findings from America and Europe.
Learn the dangers that sugar, aspartame, colorings, preservatives, salicylates, MSG and
other additives can present for you and your children, the healing power of
quality fat, the dangers of soy foods, and what constitutes a state-of-the-art
supplement program. We'll discuss the side effects of Ritalin and other drugs;
the often undiagnosed link with candida, allergies and "leaky gut" syndrome;
the uses of laboratory tests, the difference between adult and childhood forms of ADD/ADHD;
and adjunct treatments such as sound and vision therapies.
|
|
| |
| THE WHOLE SOY STORY |
|
Is soy the miracle food for the new millennium or is it a hard-to-digest protein
that has been linked to malnutrition, digestive disorders, immune system
breakdown, thyroid dysfunction and even heart disease and cancer?
This class will tell the whole soy story. Soy comes in good forms and bad.
Good soy can cure but bad soy is a culprit.
Learn how much soy Asians really eat, the differences between old-fashioned and modern soy products,
when in the life cycle soy might be helpful, and why infants using soy formula are especially at risk.
